Freelance Writer? You Must "DO"
Every now and then I'll get interview requests from middle and high
schoolers who are doing a "career" assignment. They'll ask about a
freelance writing career- how much work is it? How much money does
it make? What degree should they get? (and etc.) One thing that I
try to do for these kids is to push them, to give them some impetus
or motivation. More than anything I want to tell them that this
career is certainly viable--but it's not for the weak. The
